High-speed fun in Door County

Our Yamaha VX Deluxe and Yamaha VX Cruisers are 110 horses of fun! With 1049cc’s, these non-supercharged four-stroke Yamaha motors can reach top speeds of 45-50 miles per hour! We recommend no more than 2 adults or 1 adult and 2 medium-sized children to maintain balance and performance. Storage compartment and 18.5-gallon gas tank. Operators must be at least 18 years of age and possess a WI Boater’s License or be born before January 1st of 1989. Operators 16-18 years of age must be accompanied by a legal guardian. Riders only, ages 15 and under.

All renters may be subject to these additional fees:
– Cleaning Fee – $20
Your credit card will be kept on file for the duration of the rental. This is to ensure our rentals in case of any damages.

Boating Certifications:

Boat and jet ski drivers born on or after January 1, 1989, must complete a boating safety course that is accepted by the Wisconsin DNR. We recommend you complete this course online. Click here for the online course.

If you would like to obtain our boating certificate you can do so in person. This certificate is valid for one year at Door County Boat Rentals. It is a $10 fee for this certification. The certification can take up to one hour to complete and needs to be completed prior to arrival time.

Terms and Conditions

• As a renter you are responsible for the costs of the fuel rental during your reserved time slot. There are no prorated amounts. Damages, fuel, unreturned equipment, and additional cleaning charges may apply.
• Please note that weight limits and occupancy on our boats is based on average sizes for adults and includes the max load of equipment and fuel our boats can safely carry.

Cancellations

Customers will receive a full refund with a 48 hours notice of cancellation less a $25 cancellation fee. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.

Inclement Weather:

We do not allow cancellations for less than ideal weather. If the weather is bad due to high winds, lightning, rain, storms in the area, or other unsafe conditions, staff will call you to cancel or move your reservation pending availability. Cancellations made by our staff due to weather will receive a full refund. Door County Boat Rentals reserves the right to cancel any rental at any time due to extreme conditions deemed unsafe or unforeseen issues regarding rentals.
