With such a large selection, options are available for beginners to experienced boaters. Gas, safety equipment, including PFDs, and boat orientation are included.
Sweetwater Pontoons
Perfect for cruising and leisure under the summer sun, our Sweetwater pontoons are equipped with a four-stroke 60 HP Mercury outboard motor, a retractable bimini cover, an anchor, and a fold-up swim ladder. Dog Friendly, but an additional cleaning fee may apply. No towing or pulling is permitted.

Terms and Conditions:
- As a renter, you are responsible for the costs of damages, unreturned equipment, and additional cleaning charges that may apply.
- Please note that weight limits and occupancy on our boats are based on average sizes for adults and include the maximum load of equipment and fuel our boats can safely carry.
All renters may be subject to these additional fees:
– Cleaning Fee – $20
Your credit card will be kept on file for the duration of the rental. This is to ensure our rentals in case of any damage.
Boating Certifications:
Boat and jet ski drivers born on or after January 1, 1989, must complete a boating safety course that is accepted by the Wisconsin DNR. We recommend you complete this course online. Click here for the online course.
If you would like to obtain our boating certificate in person, it can take up to one hour to complete and needs to be completed before your scheduled rental time. This certificate is valid for one year at Door County Boat Rentals. There is a $10 fee for this certification.
Cancellations:
Customers will receive a full refund with a 48-hour notice of cancellation less a $25 cancellation fee. No-shows and cancellations within 48 hours of the rental, for any reason, are subject to the full reservation cost. Contact us by phone to cancel, inquire about a cancellation or reschedule.
Inclement Weather:
We do not allow cancellations for less-than-ideal weather. If the weather is bad due to high winds, lightning, rain, storms in the area, or other unsafe conditions, staff will call you to cancel or move your reservation pending availability. Cancellations made by our staff due to weather will receive a full refund. Door County Boat Rentals reserves the right to cancel any rental at any time due to extreme conditions deemed unsafe or unforeseen issues regarding rentals.
